Jonathan Reimer, BaSc

    I am a student at the University of Manitoba, currently in my first year of Education. I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I enjoy both of these fields immensly and want to share that passion with my students. 

    I graduated from Steinbach Regional Secondary School in 2010 as the valedictorian, and have wanted to return to high school to teach ever since.

    Some of my other passions are volleyball, summer bible camps and youth groups.

    I played volleyball all throughout highschool, both club and school. I referee volleyball quite regularely and am very interested in coaching a high school volleyball team.

    I have also spent many of my summers at various Bible camps across Manitoba. I love spending weeks outside connecting with young teens. 

    Youth groups are another way that I get to connect with many young teens in my community. I have built many great connections with teens by being a youth leader in my church. These connections that I have made are a big reason that I want to be a teacher. I want to be a role model for the students.
